About Us

The previously operational plant was restored in 2012 and began trading as BluBlok Pty (Ltd). The original engineer and operators involved in setting up the plant originally, have remained a part of the BluBlok team.

Production commenced in February 2012 and focuses on supplying the development and building supply markets. BluBlok is known in the market for our exceptional quality making us a preferred supplier to our customers.

In 2015, Blublok began manufacturing wet-cast products for the Civil Engineering Industry and this aspect of the business has continued to grow every year and now accounts for one third of our business.

Our superior and consistent quality in conjunction with our ability to manufacture large volumes and keep stock quantities high has made us a preferred to supplier to many of the larger Civil Engineers throughout the Western Cape.

In August 2022, BluBlok was fully reacquired by its main founding investors. The new team running the business are young and enthusiastic and focused on expanding the product range while ensuring the same quality and service that our customers have come to know.

In May 2024, our new Paving plant along with its batching plant was commissioned. The new German plant allows us to incorporate topping technologies to manufacture European standard superior quality residential and commercial paving products while remaining price-competitive in the market.
